Pressure Point Control Tactics
Our Pressure Point Control Tactics course equips law enforcement officers with effective methods to manage conflict situations safely and efficiently. Participants engage in hands-on training that emphasizes practical application in real-world scenarios.
Security Guard Training
This two day course covers legal authorities, use of force implications as well as tactics related to arrest and control. Upon successful completion, participants will be certified in PPCT tactical handcuffing and impact weapon.
Canadian Firearm Safety Course (Non Restricted)
This program builds a foundation for the safe handling, transport, use and storage of non restricted firearms. This course is typically offered over a two day period. Upon completion, successful participants will be eligible to apply for a firearms licence.
Self Defence for Women
This one day course will provide participants with a new sense of awareness and confidence in their ability to defend themselves against threats. The course begins with prevention strategies followed by a discussion on legal implications when using force and transitions into basic defensive tactics.
Investigative Procedures
We offer one to five day courses covering legal authorities, legislation, investigative process, note taking, evidence collection, statement taking, charging and compelling documents, and court procedures. This training is tailored to your organization and mixes theory with practical skill application.
Situation Mastery
This 2 day course works through the communication continuum from the most basic day-to-day client interactions right up to stressful and conflict involved situations that require enhanced de- escalation, conflict management, negotiation and personal safety skills.
Wildlife Safety
Operating in remote areas increases the risk of encounters with wildlife. Our half day awareness program provides you with the in class basics including prevention, preparedness and strategies for dealing with problem wildlife. Our full day course incorporates an afternoon field session where participants have the opportunity to use non lethal and lethal rounds as well as other deterrents.
Predator Control
This two day course is geared towards those tasked with wildlife monitoring and dealing with problem wildlife. It incorporates the same information as our wildlife safety course but adds a day to cover the roles of a wildlife monitor, strategies and tactics for deterring problem wildlife, dispatching wildlife, reporting protocols and field exercises.
Snowmobile Essentials
This one day course teaches you the basics about operating, transporting and maintaining a snowmobile. The course is a mix of classroom theory, hands on learning and troubleshooting scenarios.
Wildlife Capture Services
TTCL has a pool of experienced aerial net gunners available on a contractual basis to provide
wildlife capture, sample collection and other related services to permitted entities. Our company has live captured barren ground, woodland and mountain caribou as well as wolves, elk, moose, goats and bison.
Wildlife Monitoring
TTCL has highly trained and experienced personnel available to provide wildlife monitoring, proactive prevention, predator defence and active patrolling in remote areas.
Conference/Training Room Rentals & Storage Solutions
Our training/conference room is now available for your next meeting or course. Our room features 1000 square feet of open concept space and includes tables, chairs and is set up to your desired configuration. A projector and screen and wifi is available.
We also provide safe, secure storage for all your toys and accessories. Outdoor lots and sea cans are available for rent at affordable rates. Our site offers 24 hour access.
